Returnee 'Brown Bag' Presentations

During the month of May, UO Study Abroad Programs will be hosting lunchtime presentations by some of our study abroad returnees.  Each returnee will describe their experiences abroad, show slides and/or videos, and answer your questions about their study abroad sites and experiences.  These are 'brown bag' presentations, so feel to bring your lunch.  All presentations scheduled from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, and all in the EMU Mills International Center.

Congratulations to our last Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship winner!

Congratulations to UO alumna Justine Jensen, who was recently awarded a 2012-13 Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship for study at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.  Although Justine joins the last class of the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholars program, the Rotary Foundation will offer a new program, the Future Vision Plan, from 2013-14.  Interested students are encouraged to contact Study Abroad Programs at (541) 346-3207 to learn more about this new funding opportunity for global study.

Drop-in advising is provided every weekday during the fall, winter and spring terms (not exam weeks or holidays) and is a great way to start learning about whether and how studying or interning abroad might work for you.  Drop-in advisees are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.  Sign in at reception in 333 Oregon Hall (except for Honors College drop-in).

• Study abroad drop-in advising: Weekdays, 11 am to 2 pm
• IE3 Global Internships drop-in advising: Weekdays, 1 to 2 pm
• Honors College drop-in: Tuesdays, May 1, 8, 15, and 22, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm, 314 Chapman Hall
