My husband, Jay, and I were just accepted by Canadian immigration for permanent residency, so we will soon be starting our new life on Salt Spring Island up in British Columbia. When we were "cruising the world" in our sailboat in the late 90s we met many Canadians who took us under their wings as their "token Canadians"! They really left a positive impact on us and we are very happy to be joining their ranks. I will keep the UO Study Abroad Alumni Assn updated of our address change once we officially "land" in Canada -- which will be soon! Thank you, UO Study Abroad program, for opening my eyes to the world!

I moved to Boeing where I am able to use my language skills as an airline account manager in the 737 program. As a production liaison I have direct contact
with airline representatives from around the world.
