Just got back from an incredible trip to S. Africa, Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Able to share time with orphaned elephants, and got to know the wildlife of
that area of the world. Swam with great whites off of S. Africa, witnessed hippos fighting and lion kills in Chobe. Life is hectic but incredible. Came home
to the ASU/Oregon game. Need I say more, great being back on campus.

Currently I'm teaching English in South Korea. The study abroad program that I participated in was an excellent oppertunity for me to experience a different culture first hand. Living with a host family allowed me to gain insight into the people of Mexico that I wouldn't have been able to do any other way. My language skill improved greatly in the three months I was there. I would highly recommend the study abroad program to any student at the U of O.

Pamela Small

I moved to Las Vegas to teach first grade in August 2005 after seven years working in the financial world in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. I finished my masters in elementary education in June 2005. It was a big weather adjustment moving to Vegas! It hasn't rained here in about five months and it is still 100 degrees each day in September! Teaching has been a joy. I work in a year round school and get three weeks off in February, so I still ski to my heart's content. I am the proud "parent" of two rescued dogs and a rescued mini-macaw. Life has been kind to me.
