Medical doctor (graduated OHSU 2005), now a second year pediatrics resident at Stanford. Married to Matthew Waddell (Database Architect, BS Economics '97) for eight years!

Diana (Gibbs) Kreer
Perugia, Italy

Living in Napa with husband, Christian and two children: Jonas, 5 and Alec 3 months, and working as a manager in both commercial real estate and retail in Napa and Marin counties. I still love to travel, to Italy in particular, and enjoy keeping in touch with any old school friends I can.

Megan (Rau) Larson
Queretaro, Mexico

I married Erik Larson '94 in 1998. We have two children, Abby is three and half and John is nine months. I work at the University of Washington as an Academic Advisor in the Psychology Department. We live in Seattle, Washington.

Living in New York, working as a freelance art director. Moved to Italy for two years from 2001-2003 to work for a fashion house.

Susan Rich
Fulbright Fellowship South Africa

Susan Rich recently published her second collection of poems, CURES INCLUDE TRAVEL, by White Pine Press. This collection transports the reader into the lives of people on nearly every continent. Sky (Barnhart) Schual
Avignon, France (1995)

Live on Maui, love surfing with my husband Steve Schual, a mechanical engineer. Work as a freelance writer for Maui News and Maui No Ka Oi Magazine, teach writing at Maui Community College. Just reunited with my dear host-mom from Avignon after 11 years!! She came to the U.S. (her first time) this summer to attend the wedding of my Avignon roommate, Winsome Young, from the University of Washington. My French, after so long, was terrible, but by the end of the weekend, it was starting to come back to me!

Jim Walsh
Aoyama Gakuin, Tokyo, Japan (1985)

It’s been almost six years since I started Walsh Industries, LLC based in Portland. We are selling value added Oregon-made building materials abroad. A lot of our business is in Japan and we continue to diversify into other international markets. Our sales to the middle east (UAE, Jordan) continues to grow at a double digit rates. We shipped our first containers to China this year. Currently we are bidding the timber super-structure for a stadium in Beijing, the site of the 2008 Olympic Games. www.walsh-industries.com

Josh Ewing
Prague, Czech Republic (1996)

I spent 3 years in Paris from 2000-2003 as an expat for my company, Synopsys. I then returned to San Francisco and up until 4 months ago spent the previous 3.5 years travelling frequently to Asia Pacific, learning about doing business in the region. Recently began UC Berkeley Haas School of Business part-time MBA program.

I am currently living in Seoul, Korea and was awarded the Honorary Citizenship by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. I am working in the publishing industry in Seoul and am learning to speak Korean.
