Academic Calendar

Dates for 2007-08 are as follows:

Fall Semester:   July 21 to December 21, 2007
Spring Semester:   February 21 to July 19, 2008
Calendar Year:   late February to late December

The schedule for 2008-09 will be available at the CIEE website early in 2008.

Accommodations

Housing, breakfast, and one additional meal per day are included in the program fee. Students live in private homes or in a student residencia. Homestay hosts come from various lifestyles that can be matched with a student's preferred living environment. The student residencia is double occupancy with a native Spanish speaker.

Insurance

All students on this program are enrolled in a mandatory health and accident insurance plan. A complete description of the benefits and basic provisions of the insurance policy is included with participant acceptance materials.

Scholarship Opportunities

CIEE scholarships are available only to CIEE program participants. These grants ranging from $500 to $1,000 (Bowman, Bailey, Ritzmann, ISP) and are awarded each year to students who demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need.
