The Rosario program is ideal for University of Oregon undergraduate students interested in Argentine life and culture, and particularly for students currently enrolled in first- and second-year Spanish language classes.

Highlights:

  • Rosario, the third largest Argentine city, provides UO undergraduate students the chance to experience life in a city known for its colonial architecture and excellent tango dancing.
  • Classes are taught at the AHA Rosario Center, located near the Law School of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR).
  • Participants learn about all aspects of Argentine life while living with Argentine host families throughout Rosario.
  • All students take Spanish language courses.
  • Fall and spring participants also choose from dynamic classes in business, literature, history and human rights in Latin America. Some content courses are taught in English.
  • The Rosario program includes exciting excursions to many sites of cultural, historical and natural interest, including Patagonia in the fall and spring semesters.
