Academic Calendar
Dates for 2007-08 are as follows:
Fall Semester: July 11 to December 12, 2007
Spring Semester: February 13 to July 5, 2008
Calendar Year: mid-February to mid-December
The schedule for 2008-09 will be available at the CIEE website early in 2008.
Accommodations
Students live in private Chilean homes. Housing, three meals per day, and laundry services are included in the program fee.
Academic and calendar year students are responsible for housing and meals during the break between semesters.
Insurance
All students on this program are enrolled in a mandatory health and accident insurance plan. A complete description of the benefits and basic provisions of the insurance policy is included with participant acceptance materials.

Scholarship Opportunities
CIEE scholarships are available only to CIEE program participants. These grants ranging from $500 to $1,000 (Bowman, Bailey, Ritzmann, ISP) and are awarded each year to students who demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need.
