Visa Information
Students will need to obtain a "Tourist" visa upon arrival in Mexico. Once in Mexico, the ITESM staff will assist students to acquire a student visa. It is the student's responsibility to secure the tourist visa. OUS will provide instructions to assist students with the visa application process. The granting of visas is at the sole discretion of the Mexican government and cannot be guaranteed by OUS or the University of Oregon.
Please note that visa regulations and policies change frequently.
All students should apply for or renew (if necessary) their U.S. (or other) passports as soon as possible.
Orientations
All students are required to participate in an OUS pre-departure orientation. Orientation dates will be provided during the personal interview.
In addition, all UO study abroad participants are required to complete a general Blackboard orientation. More information regarding the orientation process will be emailed to students.
The orientations will cover administrative logistics, travel, health, safety, conduct, housing and cultural adjustment.
