APPLICATION DEADLINES EXTENDED
Applications deadlines for the fall term or semester in the programs listed below have been extended to April 30, 2008. Interested students should apply soon, as these programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

MAJOR SCHOLARSHIPS DEADLINE ON MAY 1st.
May 1 is the deadline to apply for many study abroad scholarships, including the Mills Scholarship, NCSA and AHA program scholarships, and others. The Mills Scholarship (formerly known as the Opportunities Abroad Scholarship) provides modest awards for use on ANY UO-sponsored study abroad program. The May 1 deadline applies to fall term/semester 2008, and yearlong 2008-09 programs.February 1 is the deadline to apply for many study abroad scholarships, including the Mills Scholarship, the UK exchanges scholarships (for Aberdeen, Bristol and the UEA), NCSA and AHA program scholarships, and others. The February 1 deadline applies to spring term, summer term, and fall/year 2008-09 programs.

- Seek help with your scholarship essays from the scholarships GTF and/or your program coordinator.
MANY NEW PROGRAMS AVAILABLE
There are a number of new programs available-many of them in new countries never before served by UO Study Abroad Programs. For many of these new programs, this website has not yet been updated, but students can learn about new program options by making an advising appointment. Please call (541) 346-3207.
New locations not yet given on the website include: Bali, the Balkans, Belgium, Bolivia, Bonaire, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Fiji, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Samoa, and Switzerland.

NEW SCHOLARSHIP COMING IN 2008-09 FOR A STUDENT GOING TO NORWAY
For 2008-09, there will be one $1500 scholarship for a UO student planning to study in Norway (in either Bergen or Oslo) in the fall and/or spring semesters. Applications are available in this website and are due May 1, 2008.
