ACIE – Eurasian Regional Language Program

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine *
The goal of these programs is to provide University of Oregon students with the opportunity to study the non-Russian languages and cultures of select Eurasian countries of the former Soviet Union. The programs are open to undergraduate and graduate students of any discipline for a semester, summer or academic year of study.
* As of May 2008 the programs in Belarus and Uzbekistan are suspended. |
Highlights:
- ACIE provides unique opportunities for students to study less-commonly taught languages in an immersion setting .
- Each student follows an academic program tailored to the student’s language level and academic needs.
- Scholarship support for both undergraduate and graduate students, awarded on the basis of financial need and/or merit.
