The goal of these programs is to provide University of Oregon students with the opportunity to study the Russian language while living in Russia. The programs are open to undergraduate and graduate students of any discipline for a semester, summer or academic year of study.

Highlights:
- Participants learn Russian from native speakers in small groups.
- Full-time U.S. resident directors at each host university
- Small group language instruction (5-7 students per group)
- Volunteer and internship opportunities
- Organized group travel to regions outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg
- Weekly local excursions, conducted in Russian, that include points of interest such as museums, churches, schools, factories, research centers, municipal offices, and other historical sites.
- Scholarship support for both undergraduate and graduate students, awarded on the basis of financial need
