Academic Program

The program offers primarily courses in Spanish language and culture.

The summer program is an intensive language program. Summer program students take 8 credits in each one-month program.

The fall and spring programs offer students courses in Spanish language, literature, culture, history, and art history. In addition to the regular course offerings, a visiting U.S. faculty member teaches one course. These courses vary each term according to the faculty member’s academic discipline. During the fall and spring programs in Oviedo, students typically take five or six classes.

A listing of course descriptions and syllabi can be found at:   AHA Oviedo Course Descriptions
