Evaluating Overseas Courses for UO Credit
In terms of the academic oversight of UO overseas programs, one important
role that faculty play is the ongoing evaluation of courses taken by
UO students while abroad. Many students participate in programs that
allow them to enroll directly in courses offered by our overseas partner
universities, or in special courses arranged for groups of students
from multiple U.S. universities. The assistance of UO faculty members
in the process of evaluating crediting is crucial to maintaining the
academic intergrity of UO overseas programs.
This page is intended to provide you with some guidance in the credit-evaluation process, as well as information about how the process works, and why it has been established in this way.
