Study Abroad Returnee Receives Prestigious Marshall Scholarship

Tamela Maciel, a senior physics major who studied abroad at the University of Bristol for the 2008-09 academic year, was just selected as the UO's third Marshall Scholar.  She will travel back to England next year to begin her graduate studies at the University of Cambridge.  She hopes to pursue her passionate interest in astrophysics.  Congratulations, Tamela, from everyone in International Affairs!
