Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel
 |
A city sacred to Judaism, Christianity and Islam, Jerusalem is a melding of past and present, of ancient roots and modern innovations. Students study at the Rothberg International School at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJ), Israel’s first and leading university and a symbol of the cultural rebirth of the Jewish nation and its ancestral homeland. Founded in the 20th century, the university has become a multidisciplinary institution of higher learning and research and an internationally esteemed research center. The goal of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem program is for students to gain insight into the current and historical cultural and religious diversity of Jerusalem and Israel through quality academic programming. Semester students participate in intensive language programs or Ulpans prior to the start of each semester. Academic year courses are taught in English (with the exception of language classes). Summer programs vary in theme.
|
