The Perth program provides University of Oregon students an opportunity to experience Western Australia and a new and different approach to university studies. Curtin University of Technology offers a practical, hands-on approach to higher education. The program is open to undergraduate and graduates students from any discipline for a semester or full academic year of study (Note: the Australia academic year runs from February through November).

Highlights:

  • Curtin University of Technology is Western Australia's largest university with over 40,000 students, located in Perth, the capital of Western Australia.
  • Located near giant karri forests, endless beaches, vast desert landscapes, and contemporary skyscrapers, Curtin offers a truly Australian experience.
  • In addition to their science, health sciences, and humanities divisions, students can choose classes from Curtin Business School (CBS), one of Australia’s largest, most comprehensive and international business schools.
  • Students can participate in a variety of student activities including sports, volunteering, clubs, and outdoor activities.

The Perth program is sponsored in cooperation with AHA International.  AHA, founded in 1957 and based in Portland, Oregon, is an academic program of the University of Oregon providing educational college experiences abroad.
