to the University of Oregon? We're here to let you know that there are
many types of internationally-oriented opportunities available to you
once you return to campus! Please come in and talk with us about how to
get involved. Here are just a few examples of ways to build on your overseas
experience once you return to the University of Oregon!
International Coffee Hour
Every Friday at 4:00 p.m. during fall, winter and spring terms, International Coffee Hour takes place in the International Resource Center in the EMU. Stop by any Friday to meet students from around the world. Everyone is welcome!
Overseas Study Peer Assistants
Coordinate our fall Study Abroad Fair, assist in orientations, events, presentations and other publicity outreach activities throughout the year. We would love to have you apply for these paid positions! Applications for the 2007-2008 Overseas Study Peer Assistant positions will be available in Spring Term 2007. Overseas Experience
Course
This one credit course is designed to help returning study abroad students make a smooth transition back to their lives in the US. Students reflect on their

Tutoring English or a Foreign Language
The American English Institute, located on the UO campus, hires native speakers of English to tutor international students. Contact Char Heitman, tutor coordinator, at 541.346.3945 for information. If you're interested in tutoring a foreign language, contact Academic Learning Services at 541.346.3226 to apply.
Interested in staying in an international mindset? Volunteer your time to help orient newly arriving international students in the fall.
